The Name Above All Names!

Jesus is the sweetest name I know,
And He is just the same
As His lovely name,
That's the reason that I love Him so,
Jesus is the sweetest name I know.

This is the season when many people speak the wonderful name of Jesus.
My prayer is that it is spoken with Joy and Thanksgiving for the little baby who was born that night in Bethlehem, who was sent from a loving Father, into a world of selfish people, to  fulfill the Father's plan to redeem His creation and give to them the promise of eternal  life.

His birth fulfilled the prophecies of the Old Testament, and we read so many verses that state, "as it was written".  Yes, Jesus is the 'promise of the Father', He is the One, sent from God to redeem those who are lost because of the nature of sin, inherited from the earthly father, Adam.  This is the only way man can be saved, by looking to Jesus, the baby in the manger who walked among men, showing us the way to everlasting life and gave His life on a cruel cross, rose from the grave to live eternally as the redeemer of all who receive Him.

In the Gospel of John, chapter 3, He tells us  that we "must be born again" in order to see the Kingdom of God.  When we receive this Child, who grew into the Man who walked about doing good and gave His life on the cross, shedding His blood that 'whosoever believeth on Him shall have everlasting life, we accept the greatest gift our Heavenly Father has given to all who receive.  Reach out today and take that gift of eternal life.
,
My prayer for all is that we receive the Redeemer, Christ Jesus, into our hearts and begin a new life following His example by loving the Lord God with all our hearts, all our minds and all our souls, and our neighbors as ourselves.

Be like the shepherds, worship the newborn King.
Let Him give you new life now and everlasting life with Him.
