The Book of Life

There are millions of copies of books in this world today.
People read of the topics which range from evil murders which may or may not be solved to the fantasy world of witchs, vampires, or maybe nice princess stories of love and romance. Regardless of your reading habits, I would encourage you to read this one Book(Bible)which has sold more copies over the years than any other book. I wonder if those copies are being read, studied, searched for truth and eternal life which it offers to all who seek? Or are they displayed on a shelf or table as a sort of trophy or collector item?
This Book, the Bible, holds the Words of Eternal Life, and has the answer to any of the problems we face daily in this life.
"Thy Word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against Thee".

The Book Of life
There is a book upon the shelf,
Which holds the secret to eternal life
It tells the story of the human race.
Among the pages we can read
The words which tell of God’s plan,
As He was here before the world began.
He spoke the Word, and created all
The earth, the sun and the stars.
He made each creature great and small,
Then he made a man to rule it all.
Gave that man the words of eternal life.
A right to choose, to obey and live
Or to rebel and die.
This book reveals the story to all
Of man’s choice to disobey which led to his fall.
Death was the result of one man’s disobedience
To the loving Father who created all.
Through the pages the story is told,
Through the ages man continues to stray.
He follows his lustful desires to fulfill,
Choosing self over His creator's will.
But this Book reveals the Father’s great love
To every generation, He holds out His plan.
When He sent the promised redeemer,
One who knew no evil!
God’s only begotten Son,
Born to die that man might live,
Such a cruel death to pay for man’s sin.
The story continues to give us a choice,
Believe on this one who died in our place,
Receive the eternal life lost in the fall,
Or continue in sin and pay the price,
When you meet the Father face to face,
Be banished from His love and His grace.
Take out this Book from the place where it rests!
Read this great love story and take it to heart!
God sent His Son a ransom for you.
Believe, cling to, and make Him your choice!
For this Book, The Bible is God’s Word to every man!
Read it and discover for yourself, God’s great plan.
